An ADU cost varies greatly from state to state and even city to city. Many factors go into the cost of an ADU. Our team at Superior ADUs builds model ADUs throughout Orange County, CA for a reasonable cost and in a fast time frame. We handle the whole process for the homeowner and allow our clients to use our pre-engineered models, which saves them time and money. Below are the three models that we offer along with the ADU cost and comparison of each:
Hillcrest
Turn your existing garage into a beautiful suite that you can either rent out or let family members live in. If your garage is currently attached, we will section off your current utilities and provide a separate entrance into your new ADU. Hillcrest offers a spacious full kitchen, living area, bedroom area large enough for a queen bed, and a spacious bathroom with a sizable curbless shower. Each model comes complete with energy efficient mini-split system HVAC units that can be adjusted by room. A stackable washer/dryer and ethanol fireplace can also be added to the Hillcrest Model to further enhance the space. The Hillcrest Model can also be built within an existing detached garage, as long as the current structure is up to code and large enough to fit the model footprint.
Oakridge
Oakridge is a modern farmhouse inspired unit that offers an open floor plan, luxurious bathroom, and separate master bedroom. The beautiful, full kitchen offers plenty of space to prep meals along with a full pantry and ample amount of storage. Add an ethanol fireplace to your living room if you so wish, and you have a great entertaining space for family and friends. The large bathroom provides plenty of counterspace and cabinetry along with a curbless, walk-in shower for easy access. The master bedroom houses a queen bed, sizable closet, and optional washer/dryer for those who want it. Each room is fit with an energy efficient mini-split system HVAC unit to keep each room at the exact temperature you want it.
Springfield
Springfield is an expansive two-bedroom, two-bath unit that could easily house one or two families. Walk into an open concept great room where your living space flows into the dining and kitchen area. Have a seat at the spacious island or cook up a meal in the large kitchen, while overlooking the living space. Add an ethanol fireplace for additional ambiance, and Springfield really becomes a showstopper. Designed with a pantry, coat closet, linen cabinetry, and additional storage space, you will have no trouble storing all of your belongings. The airy master bedroom leads into the luxurious master bath with a sprawling double vanity and curbless shower. The sizable guest bedroom sits next to another good-sized bathroom that offers both a shower and bathtub. With energy efficient mini-split system HVAC units in each room, residents can separately control their units to suit their comfort needs.
Choose Your Finish Package
Each of the three Models above come with three different Finish Packages to choose from – Transitional, Modern, and Contemporary. Each of the Models are currently shown with our Contemporary Finish Package. Each Finish Package varies in price, quality of materials, and style, which gives you options depending on your purpose and budget. The three Finish Packages were designed to appeal to everyone’s taste, but you can also choose to have our interior designer provide a custom designed Finish Package personalized to your exact desires!
ADU Cost
Superior ADUs has pre-designed, developed, and engineered these Model ADUs so you don’t have to. A great amount of time and money goes into custom designing an ADU from scratch, which can make building an ADU quite costly. Superior ADUs has already developed the plans for each model, so you don’t have to spend the time and money to work with an architect, one on one. You simply select a model and the plans are ready to be submitted to the city for approval. This greatly speeds up the process and reduces the expense of paying an architect to draw up a new set of plans. Thus, our Model ADUs are less expensive than if you were to have a custom ADU built on your own.
